Since you said pop stars could be included, I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised, nay delighted, at the conspicuous absence of Robbie "talentless idiot" Williams from this great nation - I knew there had to be a reason I moved over here!

I just looked up The House on Fox. It *is* Hugh Lawrie. I was debating this with Mr Sibsie last night. I was sure it was him, and he was sure it was an American. He's got one hell of a good American accent. Gotta be worth a watch.

He signed a contract in the UK for 80 million. Then he moved to the US. Lives mostly in LA. And guess what he gets to do here? Be Robbie the Lad! When he first got here he said he was so anonymous people had to 'google' him to find out about him.
Personally I'd take 80 mill and settle for near obscurity.
