DUI and Green Card Application
Can the application for a Green card be declined because of a DUI offense?

Re: DUI and Green Card Application
This is one of those tough ones ... I've never heard of one being declined for a
first offense, but have for more than one, or where other violations took place too.
You need to admit to it. Also, talk to your lawyer.
Never hide info like this from the INS. If they find it and you haven't told, the
risk of refusal goes up significantly!

Re: DUI and Green Card Application
I don't think so, as long as you disclose it to the INS. A few years ago, INS used to
deport people for certain DUI convictions, but to my knowledge they stopped that.
