Driving through a tornado
#1
Some storm chasers (I think they worked for a radio station or something) were driving in Iowa the other day and took a turn, right into the core of a tornado.
Yeah, they filmed it.

It's a baby one. Barely F1. No hail. Amateur stormchasers are morons.

Dude! The Fujita Scale is used to measure the damage after the storm and not the speed of the wind associated with it. It may have been weak then but if it had strengthened during it's existence it would have been able to cause more than F1 damages. Hail is not continuous during a tornado and nor is it everywhere during the storm.

They kept driving didn't they? I kept thinking of the car in front of them, not to mention not really knowing where you were going.
They sounded very geeky.

Hey now! LOL They were just a little too intense with that storm. However this is my favorite footage of getting caught in one...

Wasn't that the tornado that killed those poor Scouts just a little later?
