Driver Licence DC
Hi
I'm new to the forum I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.
After weeks of waiting for my driver licence to be posted to me I've found it only lasts for 22 months. I'm on an L2 visa and based in DC. This seems quite random and I'm wondering if it's an error.
If anyone has any insight it would be welcomed...anything that saves me from having to contact the DMV that experience is not something I want to repeat.
If anyone is going to the DMV in DC to apply for a licence don't under estimate the amount of paperwork you will require, take every bill/proof of address and residency status you have. They seemed to accept some and reject others on a whim. Also take plenty of resolve and patience the DMV manage to make airport border control folk seem postively charming.

Re: Driver Licence DC
When does your L2 expire? ..... DMV's do not issue licences valid for longer than the validity of your visa.
