... thinking about it .. Battlestar Galactica is on the sci-fi channel at 10 PM EST, so maybe two 30 min episodes back to back ... I think dgsyd1 said as much in an earlier post ...

True...though I don't think I've seen anything on Spike TV, actually most channels, I don't have the patience for it...and Dr Who, I've already seen it when it did the nova rounds, and it was also shown on CBC, the Canadian channel we get here, a few weeks after it was shown in the UK...it's a dorky series, but still a laugh

I was really surprised at my wife's reaction to the show, as soon as I tell her that a show/film is British she seems to just switch off, (especially when i said it was a si-fi type thing and went on about the tardis and daleks! She just glazed over and looked thoroughly unimpressed!) but i sat and watched it, and she got quite into it! Now she can't till next week! Hooray!

Spike does DS9 reruns - two episodes back to back each week day with TNG right after!

Now you've gone and done it. I detest Robson Green. I saw him many years ago playing Jesus in the York Mystery Plays. I don't think he's that great an actor and as for his singing career... :scared:

On the other hand, Christopher Eccleston is a very talented actor.

I hadn't watched a single episode of Dr. Who in the UK, I like serious science fiction films best and avoided the Dr. deliberately. I watched the two shown on Sci-Fi channel last night and thoroughly enjoyed them.... I probably missed a lot over the years by being "snooty"....LOL

Some of the PBS stations do re-runs of the older Dr Who series.
