Dr Who!
Dr Who (the Christopher Eccleston series) will begin this Friday night at 9pm EST on Sci Fi Channel!
Thought some of you maybe interested in another little piece of Blightly. I'm not much of a sci-fi fan personally (Never could get into the American way of taking it oh so seriously a la Star Trek, etc). Who's sense of humour, interesting plots and northern cast is the perfect remedy for anyone feeling a little homesick.
Thank God for The Doctor!!

Can't stand Dr Who myself but love anything starring Robson Green. Now if he played the good doctor I just might watch it.

Does anyone know when the new series will begin on the BBC? There is no date on the BBC site yet. I never watched Doctor Who before the Christopher Eccleston series but really enjoyed it.

The most likely date for the start of series 2 is April 15th.

Drfantastic Whofantastic!
Is that 2 hours for four episodes or two?
... thinking about it .. Battlestar Galactica is on the sci-fi channel at 10 PM EST, so maybe two 30 min episodes back to back ... I think dgsyd1 said as much in an earlier post ...
