I be staying in San Diego so I need to look that up then. Good to know about the rabies thing also. I see what My vet knows if any, regarding this. Wouldnt want them both to be done again. Oh I wish it was easy to just have these two with me on board. They both sleep all day together, so they wont even be a bother.
There was a thread a few weeks ago about flying pets by private jet...I'll try and find it.

Have you looked into flying them by private jet? There are companies out there that do this. Alternatively do you have a friend that would fly with you on an airline that allows dogs in the cabin? It would be a good opportunity for a friend to have a free holiday and would probably be the same cost or cheaper than flying them in the hold.

There are other companies who fly pets internationally. You should be able to find them by Googling. Think I read some wait until they have several dogs to keep the cost down.

QM2 was great - you can always make a booking for a sailing and get on the waiting list. I think you just have to cancel 90 days before to retain your deposit. We were able to move to the next sailing once space opened up.

Success! I just managed to book flights with Lufthansa with my small dog and cat confirmed to travel in the cabin! We are going from Edinburgh, via Frankfurt, to Chicago. So if you can get on a Lufthansa plane (not a Lufthansa flight operated by another airline - tried that), you can do it. So happy and relieved
Oh yeah, and it's 70 euros each.

Yes, one pet per adult as far as I know. My daughter is on an adult ticket. My dog is a very small Jack Russell (smaller than the cat, to her disgust).
