Direct TV ad ?
I keep seeing the Direct TV ad about moving house and the Direct staff are all clean shaven. very smart in uniforms 
When we call Direct Tv for something we get a fat, sweaty, unshaven slob in a NASCAR tee shirt come out
Where's the smart blokes then ? Is this not miss representation of the service ? can I sue them ?

The guy who installed ours was in uniform and presentable.
His van was a bit of a relic though. Looked 10 years or more old.

I beleive most are private contractors and like anything some are better then others.
My cable companies uses contrators to install/repair cable and some are clean cut and professional looking, others not so much.

The neighbour is an installer for Direct TV ....he mentioned something about some stuck up Brit .... only joking ..well partly ....the neighbour does indeed install Direct TV and there is a lot of enjoyment to be had watching him constantly climb upon their kitchen roof and realign the dish ....he must have moved it 50 times this year ....

We had two smart, uniformed DIRECTV guys come out to fix up the service in our new house. They were here for about four hours! Then about an hour later their supervisor came along to "check the quality of their work" and had to re-route some of their wiring because it was dangerous! So I'd rather have the sweaty Nascar fan if he does a good, safe, quick job.

They are all franchised and I was Northern California customer service manager for the regional office 5yrs ago and our guys were tip top.
