They aren't really... and there are lots of people with damaged passports who have no problems whatsoever! See post #4.

So do I carry both passport when I go to the airport?
Yes, you must have both. See post #8.

Will that be a problem?
No... and you'll probably discover that you didn't actually need a new passport.

Someone from the passport office told you to change your passport... call me cynical but did you honestly think someone there would say "nah it'll be ok..." #coveringonesbehind ?

Hopefully your mind is at rest, even if your bank balance is lighter.

Why did you create this thread? You asked for advice and decided to ignore it anyway.

If you're going to solicit opinions and then completely ignore them, I suggest you do likewise!

BTW that's an interesting definition of "respect" you're using. I didn't realise it meant "solicit and then do the opposite of"!

I suggest that, in truth, you wanted someone here to tell you to get a new passport... in order to justify a course of action that you had already decided upon. But everyone here said you don't need a new passport... and that was in conflict with your predetermined course of action.

All you've done is waste everyone's time.

The OP seems to have decided which path to take...therefore I am closing this thread.
