Market researchers are also not covered by the do not call list. Be kind to them, they don't call often and aren't selling anything!

I signed up a few years back and renewed last year never had 1 call from a call center, except the one from a debt collection agency looking for the ex-hubby lol..............I was more then pleased to advice

We gave up our land line earlier this year, and now we get no cold calls on it at all!

We exclusively use our cell phones now, and when we have to give a phone number for something that may lead to a cold call when they sell their list, we just give them the old land line number. Magic!
