They're lovely....though the best I've had was a mates mum, who's Danish.

And yeah, cinnamon toothpaste, it's minging, but the missus loves it. Speaking of toothpaste though, how come there are about 20 different varieties of mint these days?

I love a pint of strongbow when I'm in England but when I'm here its Magners that I miss. If I go down to Portland then its the 1st pint I order. Not much chance of getting it round here though

Hmm.. Trader Joes, there is one about 250 miles from here...
Whole Foods, looks like Framingham, MA, is our closest (about 350 miles from here...) One year we made our own scrumpy and it was pretty good!

Whole Foods in Framingham doesn't sell booze, you need the one in Wayland.

Wegmans, if you've got one nearby has the best selection of cider I've seen, loads of imports from all over the UK as well as some pretty decent local brews.

I'll have a gander when I'm down in Portland next time. Don't get down there very often though

I wish.... Above 4% ABV, so state liquor stores only, and the DABC don't show it on their list for "huge mark-up" items that the bring in I do occasionally miss a cider, although even though I come from Zummerzet, I never drank that much of it

I think there's even cinnamon toothpaste here that I've run across.
Exactly, it is like so many things on both sides of the pond, what you're used to and what you've grown up with. A little bit of cinnamon goes a long way, but I do like it.

Oh and they have a cinnamon gum here, which I wouldn't touch.

I actually like it too, but I do agree it's overpushed here sometimes. The cinnamon senting of all the autumn/Christmas items (room fresheners, candles, coffees, sweets, etc.) gets to be too much.

I'd forgotten that! Big Red, isn't it called?

I got all excited when I saw bulk muesli in the grocery store yesterday so bought some only to find it has sugar and cinnamon in it. I probably didn't notice the smell in the store because the whole store smells of cinnamon. Urgh!
