one of the cheapest cars to insure is a Toyota 4Runner.
I think I mentioned a few years ago that I went from a 3 year old Honda Fit worth about $12k to a new 4runner worth $40K and my insurance went down 30-40%.
At the time, I think Pulaski said that it might be that I'm less likely to end up in a hospital bed if I'm driving the 4runner compared to Honda fit - so there is another variable....
