I have loads of projects and ideas that have been on hold until the green card arrived. Since I got it a few weeks ago, I have moved into a new house with a garage that is currently being reconfigured into the production area for all of my little projects. I did it this way so I have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for all your replies everyone, it looks like there isn't any way of doing this, I'll have to just hope my million dollar idea (ha!) isn't achieved by someone else in the next 8-10 years
