can bad credit keep you from immagrating to the us?
my fiancee and i are trying to find out if bad credit can keep either of us from immagrating? ... her here to the usa or me to canada

No credit check is done, as far as I know, on the US spouse or the
beneficiary when immigrating to the US. The INS does want to ensure that
the new immigrant will not become a "public charge" which is the reason
for the affidavit of support.
For Canada I've no idea. Try misc.immigration.canada
