I am so over the heat here that I would trade it for an English summer any day.

93 again today and humidity so bad it felt stiffling to just be outside for 5 minutes, and dont get me started on the mosquitoes

Nope...hot summers are over-rated in my opinion

yes Texas must be rough - I don't like hot summers but I love the cooler spring and Falls.

We are having a glorious cool British summer like day here in Virginia today. Wish I could cook you all some home made Cornish pasties and enjoy the weather and food together.

This is hilarious. You'll all be complaining about the gloom if you move back. Me, I'll take northern New Mexico weather over UK weather any day. Especially sitting here at the tail end of the five rainiest days I've ever seen in my ten years of NM.

It's rained once in three weeks here in GA, although the temp has dropped noticeably in the last couple of days. The humidity is a little high for me, but nothing approaching Florida or Texas.

Could never live in the desert!

Oh you can't call them Cornish pasties unless they are from Cornwall - that's a protected status now don't you know!

I'll tell you one thing, if I was in NM the grass would be greener in Northern NYS.

In a country where you can make "champagne" without permission/ approval of the European Onion, sure you can!

What's next? You have to be in Somerset to make cheddar cheese?

Pleasant out...clear, 70F with a bit of sun and a slight breeze, it really is quite lovely for a change.

Might seem a bit mean, considering Colorado is floating away...hmmmm...

It was in the nineties here in Seattle a couple of days ago, 90+ in September! That is not what I signed up to in coming to Seattle, good ole British gloom is what I expected.

Chicago. Or Denver, if it's still there when the rain stops.
