I checked ,,,, he has been tea total all his life He did say that it looked like a very large Stourgeon (over 12 ft long) and that particular type of fish is common up here, so I think locals get confused and think it's another Nessie.

I probably spelt the fish name wrong but I don't have to write it often so I don't give a f**k

My parents used to have a trailer at South Hero and spent many a weekend out in their boat on Champlain. A friend of my Dad's from up there swore he saw Champy, BUT he was NOT a teetotaler so at the time (before he joined AA) he never told anyone he had seen it since he didn't think anyone would believe him. However when he saw it, he was for once sober.
