Thank you so much for the link, it's now safe in my favorites..
I am sorry to say I will miss this meeting, as I don't move over till March using a K-1 visa.
It's very nice to know that there are other brits close by, hope to come to any meetings after March once again thank's kit

Kitty - check out this website for Brits who have/or intend to relocate to the US. It differs from this site as it tends to cover day-to-day life in the US & Canada rather than how to sort out visas to move overseas (although there is a visa/immigration section too).
Quite a few regular posters live in Texas, and certainly at least one lives in Austin. Just go to the Discussion boards and say "hi". You will get a warm welcome!
