Just remembered Mick Hucknal (Simply Red) is a season ticket holder at manure.

Very appropriate - snit supporting snit.

He's orginally from Stockport BTW, so another glory seeker.

How about we try for a top ten of the footie charts ?
In at Number 2 is:
Kevin Keegan - Head Over Heels In Love
Released in 1979 - and it charted !
(and I've got a pic of him from then somewhere.. will have to scan it...)

Selected footie fixtures - a list of players who will be freezing their bollocks off on Boxing Day in the name of sport:

Athletic v Chelski 12:30
Pompy v Spurs
Brum v City
Souness v Boro
Whites v Villa

we always seem to play Wrexham on Boxing Day.
this time it is at Edgeley, so we'll lose, I never saw County beat Wrexham at Edgeley in my life, but never saw them lose at the Racecourse.

Famous Fans continued..............
Rochdale had Tommy Cannon (Cannon and Ball) chairman for a few years.

Bury, Not exactly famous but the brilliantly named dad of Phil and Gary Neville. wait for it.......

wait for it..........

Neville Neville is a bigwig at the Gigg.

Crewe's famous fan must be the Chairman of Granada TV because they always had Elton Welsby (Tranmere prick)and Jim Beglin (Irish ex-scouser) cumming in their pants about the way they played.
"Yes at Gresty Park tonight, The Alex got beat 4-0 by a lucky Burnley team who just managed to hoof the ball over the silky skills of Dario's men" arse.

Doesn't ring a bell I'm afraid.
She's from Stockie so should be supporting her local team anyways !
(Yeah, yeah I know, you are not Stockie but support them.)

Why is it, by the way, that the first class TWATS support the rags ?
The aformentioned ginger *****.
Terry "ey alright" Christian.
Richard Ashcroft - ex The Verve (who is from Wigan)
Angus Deayton - snit TV Presenter (lives in Surrey)

Seem to fit together perfectly.

Wasn't Nick Leeson a City fan too?
He used to write in the King of the Kippax as I recall, from his cell in Singapore.

Imagine for one minute.
In jail in Singapore
Get cancer
City fan.

God's trying to tell you something, no?

How could I forget ol' Nicky boy.
I remember seeing footage of him arriving at Heathrow in handcuffs and wearing a City shirt underneath his jumper.

Back to the charts:
Number 3 -
Gazza and Lindisfarne - Fog On The Tyne

(he followed this up with a Beatles cover - "All You Need Is Love"
Thankfully nobody heard it.)

Indeed mate, I beleve Beckham was/is a fan? Say's it all.

Rod Stewart is a big Celtic fan, but he is also obsessed with any football. Bono is another Celtic fan, often spotted in the Parkhead stands.

Billy Connoly has been seen in one of the terrible twos sections as well....think it was Rangers.
