well boxing day i went to Japan. Sounds so wow.. but believe me it wasnt. 400 plane pax getting beef or chicken! and pasta for breakfast... strange!! Anyways.. all in all Tokyio was great for the 21 hours I was there. I slept, watched tv and ate! Got home 3 days later with a jet lag to die for! Off today though .. but on call. Tomorrow is a whole different story.

Boxing day for me has always been the cold turkey buffet and home made chips.... big fat ones, and piccles. Aint the same is it.

I'm back to work tomorrow, but dreading whats happened while I was away. I work with mental health jobseekers and they often have episodes while the business is closed. Ah well! Thats the job. All the best all.

I have a deal at my place of work where I get Boxing day off as a holiday (at the expense of having to work Christmas Eve)... It works very nicely for me!

As everyone is back at work over here on Boxing Day, I spent the day doing things with my family (especially as this was my daughters first christmas). We slept in until noon, then went sledging and built a snowman. In the evening we went to one of the local English bars for a meal.

As I was one of the people who ended up working most of the Christmas period (except for Xmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day), I'm out for the next five days and plan on spending it sleeping!!

Happy New Year !!
