To be fair, I've only really gone through Hartford a few times...but for a "big" city and a Capital, it was still pretty grim...didn't see the burbs, but that's not what it's about when you head down town is it

Probably didn't help that those spaghetti junctions to get in/out and through the place is a nightmare and puts you in a bad mood to begin with
