Anyone here live in Los Angeles ?
Hi, I'm a normal, educated, reasonably attractive mid 40's English guy going to be staying in Los Angeles for a couple of months this summer looking to kick start a social scene / meet some friends.
I'm just staying there socially and not working. I've been several times before, meeting up with my Ca girlfiend who lives there ( who is now my ex g/f) and I'd like to come back and see if I can make some new friends and who know's .. maybe meet another girl.
I've heard that LA is a lonely place, I suppose like most cities, but I've always been welcomed when ever I've been there.
is that going to be difficult ? How's the best way to achieve it ?

like I said, I'm looking to make friends, male & female, to hang out with, socialise, be drinking buddies etc etc .. and if I meet a girl .. which would be very nice .. then who knows ?

Just the same as in England .. except over in LA ..

I'm in the LA area... north west of.. in Woodland Hills... there are others on this site in the same area too.
Sadly.. the summer months are the busiest for me... my game goes alpha in 8 days.. and beta in 6 weeks... then release in Sept... so... free time is not gonna happen

I live in la.
There's no token "area to meet guys and girls", etc. Too many places, too many variables, too many ethnicities.
We got mexican clubs, rap clubs, swing and jazz clubs, rock clubs, velvet rope clubs, coffee shops, gay clubs, rave clubs, goth clubs, etc. etc. We got tourist areas, shopping areas, vacation areas.
The city is massive. You just gotta figure out WHAT you want, WHAT you like, WHAT you're looking for, and THEN seek it out.
