I've been in LA since March and am loving it.
California is an amazing State and differs greatly from the north to the south.
I think most id the US states are like this - with great diversity although LA is a little crazy.
Are you moving over here?

How hard was it to get into the states?

I take it you are married to a American?

I am married to a American and live in Canada.

My daughter lives in LA and loves it. We visited them last fall and I agree about the crazy part The traffic is absolutely scary for us out-of-towners. They own an apartment in the downtown area and she loves being so close to everything. She is much into the arts and culture and wouldn't dream of living anywhere else.
As for the rest of California, I just love it. I would love to live there permanently, especially on the coast north of Santa Barbara. If we could afford it...
