French, Australian - Chile and Argentina are making some nice ones these days. Also Oregon sometimes.
The cost of French wine here makes me weep. We used to nip over to France and bring a car load back and it was lovely and it was cheap.
I like South African wine too and Spanish but I don't think Spanish wine travels well.

Oh yes, I have had some nice South African ones. And yes, sniff, French wine is generally too expensive for me

So true.... My sons say their friends always say "we love your mum and dad, they are always cuddling"... we are in our mid-40's It seems to STOP over here when people get married. Strange.

Another strange one, is how much older the parents are. I see so many people that look like grand-parents whom are actually the parents !!

Maybe it's the dress sense remarked about here... Women seem to stop caring about themselves more when they get married. Tucking shirts into trousers with no belts - and that's the women... Elasticated trousers at that

It you want a quick cappuccino, to to Bed Bath and Beyond, and buy an Aerolatte, hand-held. It's stainless steel and made in the UK. Cost is about $20. Put some milk in a cup, about an inch deep, heat in micro for about 52 seconds. Froth milk with the Aerolatte, and pour your brewed coffee in. Excellent.

you can buy it on line, but it's much more expensive, as it's UK price. Much cheaper at BBB, especially if you have one of those coupons they mail out.

www.aerolatte.com
Ooo thanks. On my list!

some more for my list...

- so few fences in back yards & if there are any, they are nasty chain link

- no rose gardens

- short slip roads on the motorway AND worse, the slip road for coming off is about 30ft after the one coming on so there's nearly a pile up as everyone tries to weave on and off

- dogs not allowed in parks

- dreadful drivers, almost as bad as Spain!

- ticks, ticks and more ticks every day

- people I meet asking what church I go to as their first question. What's it got to do with them??

Men who drive big trucks (who do not need to) and complain about gas prices, send them and there stupid ass truck to blighty for a year and see how they like those prices.

Hypocrits like some of the punk ass kids that I am forced to work with that say they go to church etc and spend most of there time swearing and being dissrespectful about women and making sexist remarks. A "follower" should not just lead that life on a Sunday!

Gum chewing shop assistants.

Differing laws between states.

Lack of curry houses, english beer.

The media's fascination with Britney, Paris or whoever! Not all of the world wants to know what "whoever" did, who they are shagging, divorcing or whatever, there is more to life than all this showbiz crap!

The perception that the US has the "answer" for everything.

it's okay for a lunch, but the vindaloo isn't all that hot, and have to drain them half way through the nuke cycle or they are far to wet.
