Do you like quiet towns or city lights, the beach or the country, historical beauty etc.

I couldn't live in Arizona for one minute but then I hate the sun. Good luck in your planning and whatever or wherever you decide to do

The only thing I'd say about some parts of Lincolnshire is its hard or takes a long time getting in and out of it re rest of England.
Bath is lovely, I forgot about Bath.
If you like the country Derbyshire is lovely. I lived in Derby before coming here.
