I'm talking about the average person on the street.

Ask any American who won the last World Cup and any Brit who won the last Superbowl and I reckon you'd get about the same amount of correct replies (along of course with Man Utd & the Miami Dolphins).

Both sports are quite popular in the other country - but definitely minority. In all my time here I've not heard one single person mention the MLS in conversation.
