Advice needed
Me and my fiancee are considering emigrating to the US and need some advice regarding green card. My fiancees father was born in US and spent his early years there before moving back to UK. Would it be possible for her to obtain citizenship or green card through her father? I have a friend in LA and he seems to think it is a formality. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Advice needed
It's possible depending on when he lived in the US and at what ages. I believe there is something possible via grandparents as well but I don't know too much about it.

He lived there from birth until 6 years old or so, it would be in the 1960's that he left.

I don't think he qualifies to pass on citizenship, but I don't know that for sure.
