along with numrous other noisy planes. The Fireworks display lasts about an hour and it is pretty good - and I'm not into fireworks.
Galena has a fairly big Independence Day Parade the following morning, and, there's lots of shops there to keep your other half occupied.

So me & my wife are all packed now other then a couple of last minute things in my wife's carry on luggage.
However much at times this country winds me up, I know I will miss people & bits & pieces.
Think hardest will be family & friends but I know we will be seeing them all again at some point in the next 12 months, plus there is Skype, Post, Email & Facebook.
So what was the hardest thing for people to say goodbye to (And lets say other then family & friends) to make it interesting, lol!

i know what you mean about Hersheys, Scouse...my brother was over visiting a month or so ago and ihad him bring me proper cadbury's chocolate and kitkat chunky's and HP brown sauce lol...i know you can get some of that here, but its very costly usually hehe

Oh my ! I think I overdid it! 16 packs of 150g - it will take me a LONG time to eat them! I don't eat this stuff much any more ... expiration date is 02-06-12 - I hope that is June 2 and not Feb 6
