I don't think there was a screenplay. I think the cast of 11 just had a bit of spare time before Julia popped so decided to get together and make some money.

I managed to watch the first 15 mins then snored my way through the rest of it. Mr Sibsie had to wake me up after the end credits.

I knew I'd forget one, so I hope nobody minds if I add Pat Robertson to the the list. A man who's programme The 700 Club is (as well as being a republican mouthpiece) a shining example of everything that's wrong with the christian faith in the world today.

On Fox over there ?! You unlucky bastard.
On UPN over here (late at night) as well as the god squad channel.
Not stuck around to listen to their diatribes, but from what I can gather the apocalypse is on it's way and everybody (apart from them) is to blame for it.

I've never seen Jack Van Impe Manc, but I can assure you I'll do my very best to avoid it
I've been wondering why watching any religious progamming over here makes me long for the days of Songs Of Praise At least it wasn't a party political broadcast for the Tories, and didn't try to ram it's own religious views down your throat.

I want to add newsman Bernard Shaw as well. I dislike the slimier of the politicla news anchormen who get to ask politicians questions during campaigns. If you thought some posed to Bush and Kerry were below the belt, try this one that Shaw asked Dukakis way back when he ran for Prez.

"Governor, if Kitty Dukakis were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?"

WTF?

Wasn't in the media spotlight last year, but will get an "honourable" mention for that one. Cheers.

My nomination would be Emeril Lagasse, celebrity/TV "chef".

I'm not at all convinced he can cook nor do I find him entertaining. He has a poor grasp of American English too (although he is from MA, which might be part of the reason).

To me, he exemplifies all that is wrong with cooking on TV yet he is popular. You don't want to know where I'd put his "bam"!!!

Prepare to be revolted.

I spent part of my christmas vacation with an aunt-in-law in Boston. She is obsessed with Emeril. One night we sat down to watch tv and I asked if we please could watch something other than Emeril on the Food Network. To my absolute horror she popped a video in the machine and ther it was - Emeril had his own sitcom. It was perhaps the most torturous few hours of my life. Emeril was as charismatic and cool as he is on his cooking show.

Which is to say he was ****ing appaling.
