I have a further question relating to this topic. I also have been offered a job in the US, but working the majority of the time in Africa for the American business.

What are the first steps towards eligibility to work in the US?

If I am paid in the US, should I pay tax in the US or UK? My family will remain living in the UK and I understand this is a potential mine field!

Can anyone give some low level advice, just so I can get a better understanding? Cheers...
