BTW, where are you in the procedure? What were you told was denied? The I-140 or the I-485? There may be different ways of handling it.

Also, sometimes, the computer is flat out wrong.

I-485, and our case status states that there is a denial in the mail to us, no RFE, nothing, flat out denial. That was 12 days ago, and not heard anything more

Yes. The case status for my I-130 petition for my wife is "Initial Processing". She was naturalized 5 years ago.
