waiver for j2 dependents
Hi,
I am currently a Canadian citizen and I was a dependent of a J1 visa
holder as a child (making me a J2 dependent) almost 10 years ago. Now I
have an offer to work in the US, but I believe I will need to apply for
a waiver for the 2-year requirement. How likely would I be to get a
waiver. Also, does my father need to apply for the waiver too or just
myself? Which forms should I fill?
Any information is appreciated. Thank you in advance! =)

What is the residence history of your father and you since you left the United States. You start with a conclusion that might not be applicable.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. During our stay in the US, my father was a J1
visa holder and I was a J2. We were both Nepalese citizens at the time
and have not gone to Nepal for the 2 year requirement.
