Waiver of Inadmissibility & Lost Passport
Hi Guys,
Posted recently about losing my passport - I am aware of the process on how to replace this & my visa and have already taken steps to do so, however I have a waiver of inadmissibility on my current E2 visa for a caution I obtained at 18 years old (I'm now 28). Does anybody know whether this will essentially remain on my file when I go to replace my visa at the consulate, or will I have to go through the process of recommendation and subsequent approval again?

You can treat this as a new visa in its entirety. Waivers are issued on a per visa basis, so you will need to go through the process again.
