My USC spouse is still a student, and so we believed we would be in for a hard time
since she only earns maybe $3000 a year, so salary wouldnt be enough, however, she
does have a trust fund which is worth about $60,000, so we just scrape through using
the 5*the deficit rule. We have a letter from the vice president of her bank, who is
her trust fund co ordinator, detailing exactly how much she has, so by rights we have
enough to get by. Does anyone know of any other experiences using assets? and how
tough was it to do? Thanks Rick

Actually, in all honesty, I think you will make it at most INS offices, although
there are a couple of offices out there that might try to give you a hard time.
Generally, the local INS office has discretion over what they will and will not
accept. What office will you be using? Alvena
