Invalid Country of Origin on GreenCard

My wife just received her Green Card yesterday, and it had an incorrect country of
origin. She is Colombian, but the GC says "Bolivia". She's never been to Bolivia so
it is just a simple clerical error on their part.
She called our not-very-pleasant public servants, who told her she'd have to pay
$110, and fill out another form E90 to get it re-issued.
Will there be problems down the road if her passport says Colombia and GC says
Bolivia? Should we pursue this? It doesn't seem fair that we'd have to pay again.
Thanks for any advice.
