Can I file, like, a year in advance?
Let's see.... fees for a spouse of native-born USCit to gain citizenship, having followed all procedures and broken no laws: $2500
Fee for someone who illegally entered the US or entered legally with an overstay, and worked here: $5000

like to apply for a passport: Here is my certificate of Posthumous
citizenship"

Ah, lovely. An 88% increase for my work permit, and a 79% increase for my advance parole. I've just applied for my fifth EAD and AP; they must love repeat business like mine. It's a great system where people can be delayed indefinitely for no apparent reason and you still charge them for the "privilege". Excuse for my cynicism, but I'm coming up to the 4-year anniversary of my AOS filing!

US citizenship is free if based on service in the U.S. armed forces.

Oh look: They have limited the scope of the Fee waivers: It used to be
possible (provided you are are financially unable to pay) for any
form ; now it is only possible for a limited list of forms.
Take the I-539 for instance: looks like they better have you out-of-
status than in-status with a fee waived

How much does divorce cost?
I guess I'll have to go thru that to be able to file the I-751 before
July 30, 2007. I can still marry my wife again the next day.
Shoot, that's gonna delay the citizenship: the three years marriage
have to be uninterrupted ... nevermind
