Well, yes. We had to provide them but as I said it doesn’t seem as though the OP’s wife will as it’s just her applying.

I do not disagree. That said, OP kept repeating the written instruction as if it might require the certificate. I have had decades of experience of living in the language of US immigration law; OP has not. It struck me that she simply did not understand the instruction.
