Default TN and short contract

Do a Canadian still need a TN or B2 to do a short contract job ( a couple of
weeks) in US ?

Thanks

You need either a TN or a B-1, depending on the situation. With a B-1, you may only
do something like sales calls or post-sales installation and maintenance, but not
perform actual work.

You get both the TN and the B-1 right at the border. Suggestion: prepare the
paperwork for a TN, and then let the INS officer decide which one is appropriate for
you (probably the TN).
