Self Employment Affidavit of Support?
Hey there my wife in canada has already sent the payment for the visa
application and im awaiting the affidavit of support appication...My
question is this.. I own a business and self employed i made $44,000
grossing last here and am wondering does immigration go with gross on
self employment workers or not? also i had a tax accountant do mine and
all i will get is a copy of my return will this be enough to show my
gross?.....and also my wife said i could use my vehicle and burial
insurance policy as income also is this right? thanks

David,
May need a little clarification of your finances here to be sure that there is a full understanding. Is the $44,000 gross what the business took in, or what you took out of the business as your own personal gross income? More to the point - what figure is on line 36 of your 1040?
