Default Question on H1B visa

Hi,

I've got a question on H1B visa. I have H1B presently which is to
expire in april 2005. My present employer has filed for an extension of
my I94 and it is in process right now.

What would be the negative impact if I switched jobs now? Of course, my
new employer would have to file for a H1B transfer and extension of my
I94.

Would there be any problems when I went to my home country (later on -
after extension processs is complete) and appreared to get my Visa
restamped?

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Default Re: Question on H1B visa

It shouldnt be a problem . You can apply for as many H1 transfers as you want , but then only one of that will be valid and that will be the employer that you will be working for.
Going to your home country for stamping shouldnt be a problem , but make sure that you get your passport stamped showing the approval notice for the employer you work for . ( They may ask for your paystubs as a proof to show that you work for that employer).
