has anyone recently returned their checklist and got a interview date
from London? i was wondering how long roughly it takes to hear from
them, i sent my checklist back 3 weeks ago now.

It seems you and I are roughly at the same point in our process. Perhaps we could keep each other updated. I sent my checklist to the embassy two weeks ago, and emailed to ask if it had been received. I got this response:

"There is a delay of 2 -3 weeks between the forms being received by the Embassy and the date in which they are processed. As soon as the Immigrant Visa Unit has completed any additional processing on your application you can anticipate receiving an appointment date for an interview and medical within 4 -6 weeks.

Thank you for your email correspondence."

So I'd at least email them at [email protected] and ask if they are in receipt of your list, and then sit tight. Anytime now, my dear!

i'm not sure of the email, i've seen it a cpl times on here but it
doesnt print the whole thing..lol

I returned my checklist on 04 December 04, I emailed the embassy a couple of times and on the 13 Jan 05 received email from them giving me a date of 04 Feb 05 (mine was a little delayed probably because of christmas).

Hope this helps, my advice would be to email as Warrior says.

address? i have seen a couple of people who have written it out on here
but the address doesn't print out fully.
