police clearance from countries without records
If someone has lived in another country, supposedly they need a police clearance. But
what if that country doesn't give them out? Does the US reject the applicant or give
them the visa?

You are not required to have a police clearance from a country that does not provide
them. Alvena

I am not a lawyer and this is not immigration advice. This is my personal opinion,

Just in case it is relevant.....
I lived in Iran, and the INS accept that I couldn't get a report from there.
I also had to get reports from Australia and Spain, so if they are
any of the countries you need, let me know and I can give you all the details.
Good luck

Yeah don't worry, Ralph. My fiancee was from Indonesia which does not give them-- the
Embassy in those countries know what is required.
