Default police certificate and court conviction letter

i came over here on an e2 in 05 i have a conviction from 1991 so got the certificate and letter and there were no probs , i am now switching to a h1b visa , when i go to the embassy to get the visa will these documents be ok or should i get new copies as these are now 4 years old , does it matter for a visa ? i know for a green card they need to be less than 6 months old but not sure about a visa ?
