Don't sweat it, you're being congratulated. Many times, people in your situation, when given the various options, respond with "OMG, that'll take too long, we must be together NOW... how can we get around all this visa stuff????" or a similar reply.

No... It's just that we get a lot of people coming on here saying things like "we're just back from two weeks in florida, we loved it and want to move there", within about three posts you realise that the person has little or no chance of emigrating or they have some dilusional view of how easy it SHOULD be to move over to the US.
Some of the most classic threads on here are ones where the person in question has no idea what so ever of how they would go about moving over here, but is 100% certain that it'll be a snap and won't take anyones advise about how tricky it'll be.
Nothing quite like the smell of burst dreams in the morning.

Sounds good. Now don't listen to those Cretins about the chocolate. My DH loves Hersheys.

Just an OT story about chocolate in the USA. My Iranian husband had lived in the USA for 3 years, when one night we were grocery shopping, and turned in the candy aisle. He excited grabs a Snickers bar and yells out to me...Rene!! Have you EVER tried one of THESE?? They are the BEST!! It was just sooo cute to see him all excited over his new discovery, when I've been eating them since I was a kid. LOL

I see someone killed a thread that should've been stickied by mentioning Hersheys. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

My husband detests Hersheys! I bought him some Cadbury bars here and he said that they don't taste the same and then saw that Cadburys is owned by Hershey's here. He does like Nestle Crunch, M&M'S and Dove though.
