Oops...I wish I hadn't asked about the flag retirement now.
In the last few days I have seen lots of notices about flag retirement ceremonies and I knew you lot would all know.
I just had images of lots of Star Spangled Banners playing bingo and listening to the US version of Vera Lynn.

DH is working but I am off so shall mow the lawn etc. We leave on Thursday to drive down to my Mom's in the Panhandle for a couple of days.

I know, I'm clutching at straws but I don't want those retired flags to feel let down by the lack of wartime musical talent.
