Jumping Doris et al. I so feel for all of you. I had to fight tooth and nail for my GC and many would have left, but we were determined. Also, we had nowhere to really go apart from the UK. We couldn't go back to our homeland, which made it easier in a way.
Just hang in. I've known people get frustrated and leave only to receive their approval notices in the mail the following week. Or tear up their paperwork and leave the country when they were just so close. I could tell you ten stories along the same line in the 10 years I've lived here.
It is a heckuva pain having to deal with the INS, but if you're determined, you can do it.

Really does not matter, which government, any country, any language, they are all useless.

Nope, they are not that clever. They are just totally incompetent, way above their ability. As the saying goes "They could not organize a piss up in a brewery"

But USCIS brings incompetence to a new level.
However, yesterday's announcement has nothing to do with incompetence. It shows a complete disregard for the people who have come here in good faith, expecting to be treated like human beings rather than chattel.

I agree that a lot of government agencies the world over are incompetent.
But USCIS brings incompetence to a new level.
However, yesterday's announcement has nothing to do with incompetence. It shows a complete disregard for the people who have come here in good faith, expecting to be treated like human beings rather than chattel.
