I shall mail my N-400 application for naturalization to Texas Service Center . I am not sure if they accept personel checks or the checks must be certified from the bank

Can you please tell me if I can send personel check or certified one ?

I see there are 2 fees $330 for the application and $70 for the fingerprinting .

Can I pay with one check for the amount of $400 OR should I send 2 checks

A personal check has some advantages. You can check you bank and see that it has been cashed. This gives you some comfort in knowing you have at the very least done enough correct for them to cash the check. You can also get your receipt number from the back of the check online. And finally you have proof of application and payment. I paid for AOS with a Money Order and ended up having to pay twice when my application was lost or misfiled.
