Good Luck, Pal
hey thanks, i appreciate your support in my "survival of the fittest" attitude.

I just got back from the Post Office. I filled out a card to trace my money order. They said that they weren't sure how long it would take to receive the copy of the money order but that I would receive a copy if it had been cashed. It also depends on how many requests they get for copies. If it hasn't been cashed, they issue a replacement on the 60th day after it was purchased. Apparently all US Postal Money orders go to an office in St. Louis where they are physically stored.

thanks again

All you'll need is the Zip code (Zip + 4 digit code) of the area you are living in to find out who to your rep is.

In order to find the complete Zip Code of your area:

Thanks for the links. I popped off a snail mail letter to Chuck Schumer's office asking for assistance as to why my wife's I-485 application hasn't been entered into their system yet and why I haven't received my receipt for the application fee. I explained the situation with dates, A# and social security number in a concise way. I also gave them the full name and phone number of the woman who is processing my application. God I hope Chuck calls her himself and tells her to get off her ass, stop passing the buck, and have some accountability as people's personal lives are affected by their actions/inactions.

I am glad you are being proactive.

I am going to hope that this is the only problem you will have.

Good Luck you sound like you are headed in the right direction.
