Default On an officer's desk?

Last week my Senator's office told me that our K1 hit an officer's desk at the NSC on 10/1. We are still waiting for some kind of action. Anyone know how long it takes from this point to get an approval. NOA 1 = 3/25 (and people from April are getting approved while ours still sits there - aaargh!!!)

Herb was told 3 weeks ago that our file was in the hands of the Director of
Nebraska .....we have heard Nothing to this date!
I get the feeling we are all fobbed off to keep us quiet for a while
....don't you get that feeling ?

Hi Michelle,

are you still in touch with your congressional rep? Just asking 'cause we were told that our petition was put on an officer's desk on September 10 (congressional rep called us on September 19 to give the info) ... the rest was silence (and I swear I know this feeling of being fobbed only too well) until my fiancé contacted the rep again on Thursday. Turned out that the thing was approved and nobody told us...

In case you are not in touch with your congressional aide on a regular basis- keep bugging them- it might be worth the trouble!

Good luck!

Rebecca.

P.S.: golfnut, I have read something about 30 business days after the thing is on an officer's desk- guess I got this out of Matt Udalls posts... you are almost there!!!
