Oath Cermony & Passport
After a long road of multiple letters and numbers (since 2004 I've had a J1, two F1s, OPT, OPT STEM extension, two H1Bs, a conditional greencard and an unrestricted greencard) I have my oath ceremony this afternoon in Oklahoma City - hooray! For those interested, my i751 was approved in February 2019 (just over 12 months since submitted), I submitted the N400 in April, biometrics in May, and interview in July. Quickest process so far.
Anyway, my question for those who have applied for a passport right after the oath ceremony - did they take the picture for you or did you bring a passport picture. I want to get it done asap and I hadn't seen it mentioned. Assume they take the picture but I've been wrong before.
Thanks!

Never heard of them taking your picture. Even when hubby went for his original at the passport office (passport services not offered at his NYC oath ceremony), he had to bring his own. They are relatively inexpensive. Go to Walgreens or CVS and have a few done up.

We applied at the post office and they took the pictures for us.
They had a small room setup with a chair, white background and camera on a tripod. More of a broom closet really.

For what it's worth, there were no people processing passport apps or social security paperwork after the ceremony. Perhaps they only do that at bigger offices. Was able to go to the post office and do it afterwards so that's one thing off the list.

In Brooklyn, we were not offered this. I had to go to the passport office.
