Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I am receiving more feedback from London interviews. It appears that NO waiver recommendations are currently being made by the consulate.
Individual reported deeply frustrating experience. He attended an interview this morning, and like the others before him, was quickly dismissed without much consideration. The interviewer showed little interest in hearing his side of the story. Despite having only one conviction—an incident involving a fight from 20 years ago—it seemed to be the sole focus. The entire interaction lasted just 2 to 3 minutes; the interviewer typed on his computer, handed him a letter stating he was ineligible, and mentioned he could try again if he wished.

I spent a good portion of last night trying do google anything official, found a fair bit but nothing that my limited brain power could make much sense of. I do note that three departments within DHS were put on admin leave mid April, these from what i could tell do not have any interaction with the visa waiver process, and as i say... I'm somewhat limited..

The consular office received mine on the 22-April-25, I have just been informed that the passport is ready for collection today, so a little over 4 weeks total turnaround time.

Hey All,
new to the forum, hoping to get some advise if possible.
I applied for a Visa on 16th August 2024 and got told I was not able to have a Visa - however they said they would support a Visa of Ineligibility.
The same day, minutes after the appointment I got a call to return as they forgot to give me form - which stated I needed to have a medical (which costed a small fortune) but they said if I do this now it will be quicker as it will be required to progress further.
So I booked the medical on the 4th September 2024, and the doctor was really talkative and she said she couldn’t see anything medically for them not to issue one. The results got couriered to the embassy on 9th September 2024.
My application just states ‘Appointment’ - I know I am over the 9 month mark….. and it’s sitting in limbo.
Is this the same for everyone else? I haven’t seen many people have to have the medical. My conviction wasn’t linked to drugs or alcohol, but I do have some mental health conditions which is why I assume I needed the medical. But just wondering on dates and trying to figure out when a decision might be received?

Unfortunately all you can do is wait. The messages don't change until the waiver has actually been processed and the embassy gets back in touch with you. I have added you to the tracker, and based on your interview date, you're at 279 days. We're currently seeing results coming in over 310 days, and this number appears to be climbing fairly rapidly.
Keep an eye on the spreadsheet to see how those before you are progressing, but don't hold out for anything before July.

Flyingturtle, are you saying you applied for a visa, had your interview in January 2025 and your waiver has been approved in 71 days? Or did you not need a waiver?

That's the news we are awaiting with anticipation from FlyingTurtle, whether or not the visa vignette has a 212(SMALL D) 3 annotation!!

So it looks like, the London embassy needs our passport with them for around 30days for stamping process. While the passport is with the embassy, we one had to travel abroad for an emergency, do we just simply email the embassy and pick up the passport???
Not that I have to travel, but never know what world brings in front of you....
